Tile visualiser and box calculator
Lay a Terrafina tile in a sample room, switch the size, finish and laying pattern, then work out how many boxes your floor needs. The room is 4.8 × 6 m, about the size of a large living room.
Wastage, explained
Straight lay needs about 5% extra for cuts at the walls, brick offset about 8% and diagonal about 12%, because every edge tile is cut at an angle.
One batch per floor
Tiles are fired in batches and shades shift slightly between them. Order the whole floor from one batch, plus a box for repairs.
Skirting and steps
Skirting, stair nosing and wall areas are not included here. Add them as a note on the enquiry and the desk adds the boxes.
